Glory to God! The Apostolate of St. Joseph Prince of the Church was founded in 2011 with a simple goal: to spread knowledge, love and devotion to St. Joseph, the blessed Foster-Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ. By getting to know the man closest to Our Saviour, we learn to appreciate our salvation from another perspective - the perspective of the man who raised the Son of God as his own flesh and blood. As Our Lord honored St Joseph on earth - and continues to do in the glory of Heaven, let us do the same in imitation of Him. Just as St Joseph protected and shielded the Child Jesus from the evil of Herod, so too does he protect today the Mystical Body of Christ - the Roman Catholic Church.
St. Joseph was proclaimed Patron of the Universal Church on December 8, 1870 by Pope Pius IX, and yet the majority of Roman Catholics know little if nothing about him.
The purpose of this apostolate is to bring awareness to St. Joseph and to promote fatherhood and manhood.
St. Joseph is much needed in our society today. He is the perfect example for Fathers, husbands and men.
